LAWRENCEVILLE - Gwinnett County police discovered a suspicious box outside at Providence Drive and Talbot Court with the word "bomb" handwritten on its side Wednesday evening, said Darren Moloney, spokesman for the Gwinnett County Police Department.
The Explosive Ordnance Disposal Unit immediately responded and rendered the device safe, but it is unknown whether or not it had destructive potential. The crime scene unit is collecting evidence for analysis and the arson unit is investigating, but no further information was available at press time, Moloney said. - From staff reportsMore like this story
