SNELLVILLE - A woman was arrested after Gwinnett firefighters and police officers responded to a report of a domestic dispute and house fire at 3580 Imperial Hill Drive in Snellville on Tuesday.
On arrival, firefighters found smoke emanating from a single-story house. They also located a woman, later identified as the homeowner, with minor injuries outside in front of the home who was treated and released at the scene. The homeowner was the victim of a domestic dispute that occurred when she returned home at 6:59 p.m., authorities said. The victim was confronted by a female acquaintance who assaulted her and then set the house on fire in three separate rooms within the home, said Thomas Rutledge, Gwinnett County Fire Department spokesman. Toni Lea Osby, 41, was found on the property, taken into police custody and is being charged with aggravated assault, aggravated stalking and first-degree arson, Rutledge said. The fires caused minimal damage to the home. No further information was available, Rutledge said.More like this story
