Mrs. Dorothy “Dot” Brown Brand, age 85 of Lawrenceville, GA, passed away October 14, 2005. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Brand, Sr., parents, Gordon and Erma Burel Brown, sister, Roselee Blount, and brother, Jerry Brown. She is survived by her daughters: Charlotte Paschal of Lawrenceville, GA, Bobbie Britt and Weston Vaughn of Lilburn, GA; Sons: Ronald and Bobbie Brand of Loganville, GA, Lonnie Brand, Jr. of Livermore, California; 7 Grandchildren; 10 Great Granchildren; 3 Great-Great Grandchildren; Brother and Sister-in-Law: Glyndon and Wylena Brown of Buford; Great Aunt: Mrs. Florine Burel Pugh of Buford; Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. Mrs. Brand was born in Buford, the Ivey Creek Community, was a retired seamstress from Dick Lynott Co, and longtime member of Ivey Creek Baptist Church in Buford. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, October 17, 2005 at 2 P.M. at the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Clif Smith and Rev. Charles Bellew officiating. Interment at Eternal Hill Memory Gardens, Snellville, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 11 A.M. to 6 P.M. Arrangements by Junior E.
