Mr. Charles E. Boggs, age 77, of Hoschton, Georgia and the Duncan Creek Community, passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2005 after an extended illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, Truman and Lora Patrick Boggs; sister, Clara Boggs Thompson; and brothers, John Boggs and Billy Joe Boggs. He is survived by his: Wife of 52 years: Mrs. Bernice Boggs, Hoschton, GA; Daughter and Son-In-Law: Deborah and Groover Cooper, Hoschton, GA; Son: Ricky Boggs, Buford, GA; Grandchildren: Jason Cooper, Jamie Cooper, Brittany Boggs, Courtney Boggs, Christopher Boggs; Great Grandchildren: Katie Cooper, Madison Boggs; Sister and Brother-In-Law: Dorothy and Ray Brendle, Buford, GA; Sisters-In-Law: Carolyn Boggs, Hoschton, GA, Dessie Mae Boggs, Hoschton, GA; Brother-In-Law: D. J. Thompson, Auburn, GA; Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. Mr. Boggs was a native of Gwinnett County, GA. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a retired service station operator. He was a founder and member of Woods Grove Baptist Church. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2005 at 2:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Roland Jackson and Rev. Charles Spruill officiating. Graveside service in Duncan Creek Congregational Church Cemetery with Rev. Mike Freeman officiating.
