Long - Hackett
Jerry and Judy Long of Ringgold announce the engagement of their daughter, Brandi Long, to Jason Hackett, son of Michael and Janice Hackett of Lawrenceville. The bride-elect is a graduate of Shorter College, where she earned a bachelor's degree in psychology. She earned her master's degree in social work from the University of Georgia. She is employed as a medical social worker for Portsbridge Hospice of Cartersville. The future groom is a graduate of Georgia Tech, where he received his bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. He is employed with Lund International as a mechanical engineer. He is the grandson of Rita Hackett of Johnstown, Pa., and Ted and Santa Mazur of Weeki Wachee, Fla. The wedding is planned for October 2006 at The Grandview on Lookout Mountain. Delfunt - Hunt Mark D. and Gina M. Delfunt of Maysville announce the engagement of their daughter, Nicole Marie Delfunt, to Kenneth Stovall Hunt III, son of Cheryl and Kenneth Stovall Hunt II of Dacula. The bride-elect is a 2001 homeschool graduate and is a junior at Kennesaw State University. She is a sales representative for SMC Corporation of America in Lawrenceville. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Scott A. Perkins of Miami and Imojean Delfunt of Maysville. The future groom is a 1999 homeschool graduate and is production manager for Hunt Heritage Inc. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Charles L. Jones of Bradenton, Fla., and Dr. and Mrs. Thomas Jefferson Hunt of Griffin.
