Paris J. Watson, Sr., age 85 of Duluth, died November 13, 2005. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, November 15, 2005 at The Duluth First Baptist Church with Dr. David Parker and Rev. Dick Baker officiating. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Duluth. Mr. Watson was born in the Centerville Community of Gwinnett County. He was retired as sheet metal fabricator in local union #85, having worked for Robinson Metal Fabricators for 20 years, was deacon emeritus at Duluth First Baptist Church where he served as chairman of the flower committee. Survivors include his wife of 63 years: Opal Watson of Duluth; Sons and daughter-in-law: James and Gail Watson, Tommy and Judy Mosley, all of Lawrenceville; Grandchildren: Angie and Tommy Mason, Amanda and Kevin Mosley, all of Lawrenceville; Great granddaughter: Aislinn Mason; Sisters: Mala Watson of Lawrenceville, Patricia and Millard House of London, KY; Brothers: Willie Hugh Watson of Lawrenceville, Jack and Wynelle Watson of Snellville, Bill and Carole Watson of London, England; Brother-in-law: Dewey Spurlock of London, KY; Sister-in-law: Reba Watson of Snellville.
