•Hours: The restaurant is open from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Monday through Saturday and from 11 a.m. to midnight Sunday.
•Atmosphere: Customers place their orders at the front counter of this casual restaurant. The menu is painted on the wall just inside the door.
A bar runs down one side of the restaurant. Eight televisions, showing a variety of sporting events, hang above the bar. Bottles of alcohol are displayed on lit shelves made of glass blocks behind the bar.
Booths with green vinyl seats line the opposite side of the dining room. Arched mirrors hanging on the exposed brick walls above the booths make the restaurant look bigger than it actually is.
•The food: The restaurant serves traditional Italian cuisine, said Evan Greenstein of Bambinelli's. The menu includes pizza, pasta and chicken and seafood entrees.
"People come in and mostly order pizza," Greenstein said. At lunch, slices of pepperoni pizza are the most popular item.
At night, entrees such as the Grouper Francese, the Grilled Chicken Alfredo and the Chicken Parmigiana are customer favorites. Another well-liked entree is the Eggplant Parmigiana. All entrees come with a half-order of garlic rolls.
Pasta dishes are also popular. "I usually recommend the Pesto Linguine," Greenstein said.
The pesto sauce for this dish, which includes chicken, mushrooms, artichoke and sun-dried tomato, is made in house.
•Beverages: The restaurant serves Coke products. Bambinelli's also has a full bar. Patrons order beer most often, Greenstein said. At dinner, wine is a popular choice.
•Desserts: The selection of sweets includes tiramisu, cannolis, double chocolate mousse cake and cheesecake.
•Entertainment: The restaurant features live music on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights and hosts an open mic night on Sunday. Poker tournaments are held on Sunday afternoon and on Monday and Wednesday.
