Thompson - Cooper
Linda Natalie Thompson and Thomas Daniel Cooper, both of Cumming, were married on May 28 by the water's edge at Ray's on the River in Atlanta. The Rev. Bill Willits of North Point Community Church officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Tommy and Denise Thompson of Lawrenceville. She is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Georgia, where she received a bachelor's degree in horticulture and a master's degree in occupational studies. She teaches science at Woodward Academy in Duluth.
The groom is the son of Michael and Kathy Cooper of Alpharetta. He is a graduate of the University of Georgia, where he received his bachelor's degree in finance. He is employed as the branch corporate accounts manager for Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Cumming.
Dana Dunham of Atlanta served as the bride's maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Renee Edeline of Novi, Mich., Lyn-Dee Biggerstaff of Sugar Hill, Jessica Brown of Lawrenceville, Jenna Brown of Lawrenceville, Jessica Reece of Atlanta and Katie Cooper of Houston.
Michael Cooper served as the groom's best man.
Groomsmen were Shawn Pirkle of Lula, Robert Graham of Marietta, Tom Lewek of Alpharetta, Tyler Tieken of Dunwoody, Willem Schlipzand of Atlanta and Joey DuFour of Roswell.
After a honeymoon trip to Montago Bay, Jamaica the couple now resides in Cumming.
Lindsey - Soliday
Ashlea Caroline Lindsey and David James Soliday were married Aug. 6 at Duluth First Baptist Church. Dr. David Parker officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John A. Monk of Duluth and the late Harold E. Lindsey. She is a 1998 graduate of Duluth High School and a 2002 graduate of the University of Georgia, where she received a bachelor's degree in management information systems. She is pursuing a master's degree in business administration from Mercer University. She is employed with AGCO Corporation as a marketing database administrator.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James W. Soliday of Salem, Ind. He is a 1998 graduate of Salem High School and a 2002 graduate of Purdue University, where he received a bachelor's degree in agricultural systems management. He is employed with Yancey Bros. Co. as a product support sales representative.
Muretta Moss of Snellville served as the bride's maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Amanda Corney of Suwanee, Julie Harrison of Suwanee, Katie Long of Woodstock, Adriane Moreland of Marietta and Janna Oliver of Atlanta. Flower girls were Lauren Knight of Millen, Ind., and Emma Wilson of Elletsville, Ind.
