BUFORD - Two occupants were displaced following an apartment fire Saturday morning.
Two units in an eight-unit building at the Hartford Run apartments off Buford Highway sustained heavy damage following the 1:33 a.m. blaze, Gwinnett Fire Department Spokesman Thomas Rutledge said. The fire was under control at 2:19 a.m. No one was home in the unit where the fire started, Rutledge said, and one person escaped from the other apartment uninjured. The cause of the fire, at 804 Hartford Run, is under investigation, Rutledge said.More like this story
