Chateau Elan to host charity golf tournament
•Golf and hemophilia combine at Chateau Elan at 10:45 a.m. today at the 23rd annual Hit 'Em for Hemophilia Atlanta Braves Golf Tournament. All are invited to attend this event that helps fund research for a cure for hemophilia. For information on how to participate, call Ann Ragsdale at 770-518-8272. Receive flu shots and donate blood•All are invited to receive flu shots and donate blood for hurricane victims from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at Courtyard Gardens Assisted Living (formally known as Atria) at 1000 River Centre Place. Please call Heather Bonner at 770-963-9934 if you would like to attend. School to have vans for health screenings•Lilburn Elementary School will host a van with diabetes screening and flu shots from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday. Radloff Middle School will host a van with blood pressure on from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday. Meadowcreek High School will host a van with diabetes screening and a blood drive Friday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Anyone can come to the screenings at any location.
