November 3, 1928- May 29, 2005 Mrs. Sarah Davis Martin, age 77, of Buford, GA passed away on Sunday, May 29, 2005 at the Willow Wood Nursing Center following an extended illness. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Susie Davis, beloved husband, Mr. Fred Martin and beloved daughter, Mrs. Martha Light. She is survived by her: Son and Daughter-in-Law: David and Deborah Martin, Oakwood, GA; Daughters and Sons-in-Law: Edith and Buster Puckett, Flowery Branch, GA; Vivian and James Youngblood, Sugar Hill, GA; Glenda and Tony Harrison, Sugar Hill, GA; 11 Grandchildren; 13 Great Grandchildren; Sister: Gladys Oliver, Toccoa, GA; and a number of Nieces and Nephews. Sarah was a devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. She was formerly employed by Georgia Natural Gas. She was a long time member of New Bethany Baptist Church. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, May 31, 2005 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Ashworth and Rev. Billy Compton officiating.
