WINDER - Three arrests were made in a drug raid that netted more than 38 grams of cocaine and marijuana on Thursday.
Powdered and solid cocaine, marijuana and cash were found at a house on King Street, Winder police Lt. Lamar Reynolds said.
Investigations of the residence had been ongoing, Reynolds said. The search warrant was the culmination of an effort to deter the use, sale and distribution of illegal drugs in the city.
Shintel Thurmond, 30, of Winder, was arrested and charged with trafficking cocaine; Shawn Billings, 33, of Winder, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana; and Dorothy Riley, 50, of Winder, was arrested and charged with being party to a crime.
