DeGarmo, others go from 'Idol' to 'Family Feud'
LOS ANGELES - Ten former ''American Idol'' contestants are involved in a very different kind of competition.
The singers, including last season's runner-up, Diana DeGarmo of Snellville are appearing on ''Family Feud,'' the syndicated game show. They were divided by gender for the taped shows, which will be broadcast this week.
Cream reunites for concert
LONDON - After waiting more than 35 years for the sunshine of their love, Cream fans were treated to the reunion of Eric Clapton's rock supergroup at a concert at Royal Albert Hall.
At the sold-out concert, a 60-year-old Clapton, Jack Bruce, 61, and Ginger Baker, 65, took the stage at the same venue where they played their 1968 farewell show.
Aside from a brief 1993 appearance, the Monday-night concert was Cream's first full show in decades.
Chan ambassador to Firefighters Games in China
HONG KONG - Decked out in full firefighter gear and arriving on a fire patrol buggy, Jackie Chan threw his name behind the next World Firefighters Games in Hong Kong.
Chan was named an ambassador for next February's games, which will pit firefighters from around the world against each other in sports events.
