LOGANVILLE - A Loganville woman died after being ejected from her car Sunday evening, according to officials.
Kimberly Dawn Long was pronounced dead at Atlanta Medical Center due to injuries sustained in the accident along Claude Brewer Road in Loganville, according to a Walton County Sheriff's Office press release. According to the report, Long's 1996 Chevy Silverado truck left the roadway and struck a tree. Long was partially ejected from the vehicle. Sheriff's deputies, an investigator and a Georgia State Patrol trooper responded to the scene. Long was transported by helicopter to Atlanta Medical Center. Earlier on Sunday, the Sheriff's Office assisted the Georgia State Patrol with a traffic fatality scene on Cornish Mountain Church Road in Jersey. According to the report, a Jeep Cherokee left the roadway and skidded across the yard at 1370 Cornish Mountain Church Road in the early morning hours. The vehicle ran into with a large tree. Lydia G. Bradshaw was extricated from the vehicle and transported to Newton General Hospital, officials said. She was later flown to Atlanta Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead. - From staff reportsMore like this story
