On Wednesday March 23, 2005, Joseph W. Pfeifer of Easton, MD, formerly of Chevy Chase, MD, beloved husband of Virginia Pfeifer (nee Walker); devoted father of Janet Crook of Madison, CT; Mary V. Pfeifer of Kansas City, MO; Katherine Lafleur of Clarksville, MD; Margaret Yerger of Sanatoga, PA; Patricia Hittinger of Cibolo, TX; Elizabeth Sunier of Rockville, MD; Joseph W., Jr., of Laurel, MD; Phillip H. of Duluth, GA; John B. of Knoxville, MD; Robert F. of Olney, MD; Thomas A. of Easton, MD; and Richard M. of Sharpsburg, MD. Also survived by 45 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. A Funeral Liturgy for Mr. Pfeifer will be celebrated at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church on Wednesday, March 30, 2005 at 10:00 AM. Friends may call at the Fellows, Helfenbein and Newnam Funeral Home, P. A., Easton, MD on Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 PM. Burial will be at ST. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, Cordova, MD. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, March 31, 2005 at 11:00 AM at the Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament Church, Chevy Chase Circle, Washington, D.C.
