Larry “Neal” Thompson, Sr., age 86 of Lawrenceville, GA passed away March 22, 2005. He was preceded in death by his wife Carolyn Fowler Thompson and sisters Hazel Samples and Jeanette Anderson. He is survived by: Sons & Daughters-in-law: Larry & Becky Thompson, Lawrenceville; Garry & Susan Thompson, Lawrenceville; Grandchildren: Chris & Cheryl Thompson, Lawrenceville; Julie & Dennis Wasmund, Lilburn; Jessica Thompson, Lawrenceville; Anna Thompson, Lawrenceville; Great Granchildren: Brittany Thompson, Nicole Sower & Conner Wasmund; Brothers & Sisters-in-law: Ralph & Christine Thompson, Dacula; Gerald & Margaret Thompson, Lilburn; Carolyn Simpson, Milledgeville; Cleff & Joe Mays, Lawrenceville; Wendell & Shirley Thompson, Lawrenceville; Dennis Samples, Lawrenceville. Mr. Thompson was a lifelong Gwinnett resident and a recent resident of Ashton Hall, retired truck driver and avid farmer. He was a loving father and grandfather. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 24, 2005 at 1:00 P.M. at Wages Lawrenceville Chapel with Rev. Jim Bocian officiating. Interment to follow at Bethesda United Methodist Church Cemetery.
