Winnie Jane Shallow, age 60 of Winder died February 27, 2005. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 5 at Poplar Hill Missionary Baptist Church. Rev. Avery Headd will officiate. She was a member of Poplar Hill Missionary Baptist Church and preceded in death by her father John Emmett Smith. Survivors include: Mother: Maude Smith, Buford; Son and Daughter in law: Marchell and Diane Smith, Lawrenceville; Daughter and Son in law: Eleanor and Paul Shields, California; Brother and Sister in law: Charles and Gail Smith, Buford; Sister: Marilyn Juliette Haywood, Buford; Grandchildren: P.J. Shields and Ice'e Shields, California and Samantha Hall, Lawrenceville. Mrs. Smith is also survived by a host of relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Friday, March 4, 2005 from 7 P.M. - 9 P.M. at Tapp/Tim Stewart Funeral Home, 201 Morningside Drive, Buford, Georgia 30518 770-945-9345.
