Mr. Frank Sargent, Sr., age 84, of Buford, GA and formerly of Cayce, SC passed away on June 28, 2005. Surviving are: Daughters and Son-in-Law: Brenda and Chuck Gerlach, Alpharetta, GA, Dr. J. Myra Sargent, Smyrna, GA; Son and Fiancee: H. Frank Sargent, Jr., and Denise Coll, Buford, GA; Grandsons: Paul Taylor, San Francisco, CA, Kent Taylor, Atlanta, GA. Mr. Sargent was a native of South Carolina. He was the owner of Asphalt Paving Company in Simpsonville, SC and was also a residential builder. He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a member of Broadacres Baptist Church in Cayce, SC and attended the First Baptist Church in Buford, GA. He was an avid bowler and fisherman. Funeral service will be held on Friday, July 1, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. at Broadacres Baptist Church in Cayce, SC with Rev. Carlos Watson officiating. Interment in Southland Memorial Gardens, Columbia, SC.
