Mrs. Sara Sadie Ferguson Hallford, age 75, of Buford, GA and Habersham County, passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2005. She was preceded in death by her parents, Quinton Eugene and Etta Spencer Ferguson and sisters, Betty Ferguson Laprade Caudell and Irene Ferguson Shirley. Surviving are her: Husband: Mr. William D. Hallford, Clarkesville, GA; Daughter: Wanda Kangiser, Clarkesville, GA; Sons: Robert Eugene Hallford, Stone Mountain, GA; Mark Thomas Hallford, Gainesville, GA; Grandchildren: Biff and Drew Kangiser; Blair English; Gwilyn Hallford; Katlyn Hallford; Evin Hallford; Great-Grandchildren: Austin; Kayla; Nathan and Elijah; Brothers and Sister-in-Law: Rev. James T. Jim and Judy Ferguson, Flower Branch, GA; Mr. Frank Ferguson, Demorest, GA; Sisters and Brothers-in-Law: Dorothy Littleton, Demorest, GA; Ella and Jimmy Arnold, Oakwood, GA; Mary Ferguson, Atlanta, GA; Elaine Grubbs, Lilburn, GA; Evelyn and Mike Tarrant, Washington DC; Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. Mrs. Hallford was a native of Habersham County, GA. She was a retired district supervisor from Lovable Co. after 30 years of service. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Buford and a member of the Lela Whitner Sunday School Class. Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 8, 2005, at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Hulon Frix and Rev. G Stephen Wood officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of Buford, Sanctuary Fund, Buford, GA or to Peachtree Christian Hospice, Duluth, GA.
