Rev. William Austin “Bill” Perry, 51, of Colonial Heights, VA formerly of Dacula, GA, died on Tuesday, July 19, 2005. Rev. Perry was the Associate Minister of Music for Colonial Heights Baptist Church in Colonial Heights, VA. He was the Associate Minister of Music in charge of orchestra and middle school choir at Hebron Baptist Church for 13 years before moving to Virginia. Prior to Bill's Church Ministry, he served his community through his profession as a licensed funeral director and embalmer. Bill was born in Clarke County, Georgia, and was preceded in death by his father, Francis C. Perry. He is survived by his wife, Connie Perry; a son and daughter-in-law, Matthew and Melissa Perry of Winder, GA; a daughter, Elisabeth Perry and her fiance Caleb Musser of Winder, GA; mother, Betty Waller of Commerce, GA; a sister, Frankie Satterfield of Conway, Arkansas; his grandmother, Maryleen Evans of Commerce, GA; nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held at Hebron Baptist Church on Saturday, July 23, 2005 at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Larry Wynn officiating. Burial will be Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery.
