DULUTH - Singer Gwen Stefani will bring her first solo tour to the county Nov. 8 with a stop at the Arena at Gwinnett Center.
Tickets for the show are tentatively scheduled to go on sale July 30. The tour, called "Harajuku Lovers," brings The Black Eyed Peas on board in support of the band's fourth album, "Monkey Business."
Stefani's solo debut, "Love, Angel, Music, Baby," was released in November 2004 and has already given her three hit singles. The album's third hit, "Hollaback Girl," is still among the top 5 on Billboard's Hot 100 Chart after the song's release in March.
Previously, Stefani had been best known as the lead vocalist of the pop-punk-rock band No Doubt. The band released its self-titled debut record while members were still in school and working day jobs in 1991. Its sophomore effort, "Tragic Kingdom," launched the band to stardom in 1995, and it has released three more albums since then.
Tickets for the show will be available through Ticketmaster at 404-249-6400 or www.ticketmaster.com .
The arena is bringing two other big-name acts to Gwinnett this weekend. Comedian Jeff Foxworthy will take the stage at 8 tonight, and the top 10 "American Idol" contestants will perform during a sold-out show at 7 p.m. Saturday.
