William E. (Red) Mayo, Jr., 78, of Dacula, GA, died January 19, 2005. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 22nd, at Crowell Brothers Peachtree Chapel Funeral Home in Norcross. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 22nd, at Eastview Cemetery in Rome, GA. The family will receive friends Friday from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Mayo, a U. S. Navy veteran of W.W. II, was a Line Supervisor for General Motors. Preceded in death by his wife, Marty Mayo, he is survived by his son, Eddie Mayo of Dacula, GA; daughter, Chris Mayo Melear of Memphis, TN; sister, Mary Ann Anderson of Doraville, GA; and six grandchildren. Scott Gibson, Patrick Morse, Aaron Mayo, Adam Mayo, Anna Mayo, and Abigail Mayo. Arrangements by Crowell Brothers Peachtree Chapel Funeral Home, Norcross, GA. (770)448-5757.
