Mrs. Ann Blackwell Bird, age 71 of Snellville, GA, passed away January 1, 2005, after an extended illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Bird, and her parents, John F. and Ruth Thomas Blackwell. She is survived by her children, daughter and son-in-law, Jane and Frank Woods of Tucker; her sons and daughters-in-law, Ben and Sheri Bird of Lilburn, Thomas and Jan Bird of Snellville, John and Sue Bird of Loganville, and son Michael Bird of Snellville; sister and brother-in-law Marilyn and Dixon Hays of Covington; brother and sister-in-law John F. (Jack) and Julia Blackwell of Newborn; sister-in-law Kathryn Bird of Snellville; grandchildren Bryan Hunt, Savina Hooper, Frankie Woods, Cassie Bird, Leigh Bird, Traci Bird, Adam Bird, Chad Bird, Zackery Bird, Katie Bird; ten great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Mrs. Bird was born in Morgan County on December 18, 1933, and graduated from Madison High School. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 4, 2005, at 11 am at Wages Snellville Chapel, with Dr. Phil Schroeder officiating. Interment Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery, Newborn, GA.
