Merk Eula (Merksie) Vandiver, 97, of Stone Mountain joined the Heavenly Choir on Christmas Day 2005. She is survived by husband John Milton Vandiver, daughters: Frances (Norris) Puckett of Penney Farms, FL and Carolyn (James) Gray of Athens, TN. Sisters: Jimmie Lou Franklin of Macon, Georgia and Mary Rosine of La Crescenta, CA. Grandchildren Jon Puckett, Kathy Smith, Susan Morrison and Glenn Morrison. Great Grandchildren Jeni and Alyssa Smith and Nicholas, Michelle and Lillie Ann Ramos, also nieces and nephews. Mrs. Vandiver was an honor graduate at Wesleyan College in Macon. Graveside service will be held Wednesday December 28th at 1:00pm at Macon Memorial Park in the Chapel Mausoleum. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 3 until 5 at Wages & Sons Stone Mountain Chapel 770-469-9811.
