George W. “Bill” Brown, age 80 of Snellville, GA, died December 22, 2005. He was preceded in death by his son, James Randall Brown and is survived by his wife of 56 years, Barbara Brown; daughters, Marlyn Carson, Paula Brown, all of Snellville; grandchildren, Kenneth Carson and his wife, Wrynn, Rhonda Carson; great grandchildren, Ashley, Taylor, Mallory, Chase Randall; many nieces and nephews. Mr. Brown was in the Navy and Air Force, serving in WW II and the Korean Conflict. He retired from General Motors after 30 years of service. He was Past Department Commander of the American Legion, and a member of Avondale Post #66 and was a member of Snellville United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 27 at 2pm at Wages Snellville Chapel with Rev. Claude Smithmeir and Rev. Steve Brown officiating. Interment Melwood Cemetery, Stone Mountain.
