HORTENSE, Ga. (AP) - A manhunt was under way Thursday for a man and woman wanted in the slaying of a southeast Georgia man whose body was found earlier by Brantley County deputies.
The Sheriff's Office responded to a call about gunshot victim about 12:35 a.m. and found Richard Warrell, 45, of Hortense dead of multiple gunshot wounds, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation said. Patrick Lee Connelly, 21, and Krystal Anne Hall, 19, both of Hortense, were believed to be traveling in Warrell's 2002 black GMC Yukon. The GBI said they each were charged in warrants with one count of murder and one count of burglary and were considered armed and extremely dangerous.More like this story
