Thieves pull gun on workers

•NORCROSS - A pair of thieves pointed a gun at employees who were chasing them Sunday for stealing items from the Kenwood Factory Outlet at 6624 Dawson Blvd.

An employee reportedly noticed two young Hispanic men at 6 p.m. because they were walking through the store too quickly to be looking at anything. Suddenly, each of the men snatched up a 12-inch subwoofer speaker and ran outside, according to a police report.

As the employees tried to pursue them, one of the suspects pulled out a pistol and said "get away or I'm gonna shoot you." The suspects fled in a brand new, red Dodge Durango.

Man robs Citgo at gunpoint

•NORCROSS - An unidentified man on Sunday robbed the Citgo gas station at 3426 Holcomb Bridge Road, according to a police report.

The suspect came into the store at 9:50 p.m. and spent about half an hour selecting items from around the store. He brought the goods to the counter after all the other customers had left. As the clerk was ringing him up, the robber produced a gun and grabbed money from the register.

The suspect fled in an unknown direction. Police are analyzing a surveillance video of the incident.
