BRASELTON - Amateur Chuck Pinkard of Cumming shot a 7-under-par 65 on Thursday to take the first-round lead at The Community PhoneBook Georgia Open, held at The Legends at Chateau Elan. Pinkard's round included a 5-under 31 on the back nine.
