Man charged with cutting fiancee
DULUTH - A Duluth man allegedly threatened to kill his fiancee and cut her arm with a razor blade Saturday at their home on Chisel Way.
The fiancee said she had been having problems with Eric Sanchez Ramirez and she told him she wanted to leave. Ramirez became irate, began wrestling with her and said "you are going to die with me," according to police reports.
Ramirez reportedly grabbed a razor blade and tried to cut the woman's neck. He missed and cut her arm instead, causing a deep laceration, police reports said. Blood gushed out of the wound, startling Ramirez, and the fiancee seized the opportunity to run to a friend's house for help.
Ramirez has been charged with aggravated assault.
