Man robbed at Norcross apartment

NORCROSS - A man was robbed and pistol-whipped Sunday at Four Seasons Apartments at 6900 Dawson Boulevard.

The victim was sitting on his car and talking on his cell phone when he was approached from behind about 1 a.m., according to police reports.

A group of men pulled the victim's shirt over his head, taped his hands together and forced him into a nearby apartment.

They struck the victim several times in the head with a gun and stole his keys, wallet and cell phone. After the men left, the victim was able to break free and call 911. A relative took him to Gwinnett Medical Center for treatment of head wounds.

Duluth Checkers robbed by two men

DULUTH - Two unidentified men on Saturday robbed the Checkers at 2336 Pleasant Hill Road.

One suspect came through a side window about 1 a.m. and let the other man in through a side door. The two men brandished a gun and demanded money, according to a police report. When a female manager wouldn't open the safe, they struck her with a pistol.

The robbers took several hundred dollars along with the manager's purse.

Norcross woman accused of stabbing boyfriend in the arm

DULUTH - A Norcross woman was arrested Thursday for stabbing her boyfriend in the arm with a kitchen knife, police reports stated.

During an argument with her boyfriend, 23-year-old Brittany Kimbrough allegedly became angry and stabbed him in the arm, causing a two-inch puncture wound just above his elbow.

The officer stopped Kimbrough as she was driving out of the complex.

She admitted leaving the knife in the car. Kimbrough was charged with aggravated assault and possession of a knife during the commission of a felony.
