John Denmon Dink Power, Sr., 80, of Lilburn, died Sunday, August 28, 2005. The funeral will be at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 31, 2005 at Bill Head Funeral Home, Lilburn/Tucker Chapel, with Rev. Van Power and Mr. Anthony O.L. Powell officiating. Burial will be in Floral Hills Memory Gardens, Tucker. A native of Dunwoody, Mr. Power was a grade foreman in road construction. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII and was a member of Harmony Grove United Methodist Church, Lilburn. Survivors include: Son & Daughter-In-Law: Thomas & Candace Power of Monroe; Daughters: Mrs. Bobby (Linda) Patrick of Monroe and Judy Allen of Alto; Daughter-In-Law: Glenda Power of Conyers; Eleven Grandchildren and Eight Great Grandchildren; Brothers: Jere Power of Stone Mountain, Emory Power of Tucker, Ray Power of East Point, Ronnie Power of Covington, Danny Power of Duluth; Sister: Faye Power of Columbus. The family will receive friends from 2-4 P.M. and from 6-8 P.M. Tuesday at Bill Head Funeral Homes and Crematory, Lilburn/Tucker Chapel, 770-564-2726.
