DULUTH - Natalie Jones pitched six innings of one-hit ball, leading Shiloh to a 3-0 win over Shiloh on Friday. Vanessa Ayar went 2-for-4 with an RBI, Jillian Bouchard had two hits and Amber Piatt and Shelby Scott chipped in with a hit each for the Generals (5-5-1).
Berkmar 5, McIntosh 4
SUWANEE - Cat Tarvin struck out four batters and scattered eight hits and was 1-for-2 with an RBI single as Berkmar edged McIntosh 5-4 on Friday. Samm Boeshore, Erica Joseph and Carrie Smith each added RBIs for the Patriots, who scored all five runs in the third inning.
Central earns win, ties Westminster
SUWANEE - Central Gwinnett and Westminster played to a 1-1 tie in the first of two games for the Black Knights on Friday. Klair Wells had the only RBI for Central, with Ashley Rutledge scoring the run for the Black Knights (4-5-1).
Lacy Reck pitched six innings, striking out eight batters, helping Central shut out Roswell 7-0 in the second game. Jessica Skeels was 3-for-3 with a triple, two doubles and three RBIs and Karli Figueroa added two hits for the Black Knights (5-5-1).
NORCROSS - Jaime Sylvester yielded only two hits and struck out three batters but took the loss as Milton edged the Blue Devils 1-0 in the early game.
Nina Iduate paced the Norcross attack with four hits as the Blue Devils bounced back in the night cap 15-0 versus Riverwood. Malika Wadley and Allison Klivannoff both added two hits for Norcross (2-5).
Parkview 13, Campbell 1
DULUTH - Kathryn Thomas struck out seven batters in six innings, helping Parkview defeat Campbell 13-1 on Friday. Regina Purvis was 2-for-4 with a RBI, Kim Stercay had a triple and four RBIs and Katie Kenady added a hit and two RBIs for the Panthers (7-3-1).
Wolves win pair
BUFORD - The second-ranked Buford Wolves earned two wins at their invitational tournament on Friday.
In the first game, Jesse Groves struck out eight batters in six innings and was 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs as Buford downed West Hall 7-4. Shannon Wilson had three hits and scored two runs and Melissa Higginbotham finished with a double and two RBIs in three at-bats for the Wolves (8-1, 1-0).
Higginbotham took the mound in the second game and threw a no-hitter, striking out seven batters as Buford beat Clarke Central 10-0. Amanda Brooks was 2-for-4 with a double, two RBIs and two runs scored, Kelly Tucker had two hits in three at-bats with Lauren Thornton and Shannon Wilson both adding two hits for Buford (9-1, 1-0).
Central wins three
SUWANEE - Central Gwinnett improved its record to 5-2 by winning three matches on Friday. The Black Knights defeated Mill Creek 23-25, 25-18, 25-16, Norcross 25-11, 25-13 and downed West Hall 25-15, 25-12. Amber Kirkpatrick had 27 kills and seven blocks, Karen Green added 24 kills and 10 blocks and Ida Smajic finished with 34 assists and 10 digs. Miada Smajic chipped in with 20 digs for Central.
Killian Hill earns a win
SUWANEE - Killian Hill Christain defeated Old Suwanee Christian 3-1 on Friday. The scores were 25-11, 25-27, 25-9, 25-11. Allyson Trine had 12 kills and two aces, Kelli Passman added three aces and three kills and Carrie Chambers finished with two kills and an ace for the Cougars (2-0).

Westminster Christian 0
LILBURN - Chris Williams and Jason Abernathy scored three goals each as Killian Hill Christian downed Westminster Christian 14-0 on Friday. Steve Sokohl, George Campian and Segin Adefope each added two goals for the Cougars (2-0).
