J. L. Parr, Jr., “Pete” age 68 of Shady Dale, GA born December 2, 1936 and passed away August 17, 2005. He was the son of the late James Lester Parr, Sr. and Sadie Mae Parker Parr. He is survived by: Sons & Daughter-in-Law: Jackie Lawrence & Sandra Parr, Shady Dale, GA; Jeffrey Lee Parr, Gainesville; Daughter: Sherrie Lynn Parr Johnson, Tazewell, TN; Sister & Brother-in-Law: Margaret & Raymond Huggins, Dacula, GA; Grandsons: Joey Parr, Shady Dale, GA; Jimmy John Parr, Shady Dale, GA; David Jason Johnson, Reidvielle, GA; Grandchildren: Jennifer Lynn Johnson, Jeremy Parr, Amanda Parr & Tereson Lawson; Great Grandsons: James Johnaton Parr, Buford; Sean Connor Lawson, Columbus, GA; 1 Niece & 3 Nephews; Several Great Nieces & Nephews. Mr. Parr was a member of New Rock Springs Baptist Church and a brick mason all of his life. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 19, 2005 at 4:00 P.M. at New Rock Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Carl Fowler officiating.
