Mrs. Blanche Josephine Camp, age 83, of Jefferson, passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2005, after an extended illness. She was born on November 15, 1921, a daughter to the late Mr. and Mrs. William Walter and Clara Ann Talley White. She was a homemaker and member of the First Baptist Church of Jefferson. She resided for many years in Norcross, where she was a member of the Garden Club, Home Demonstration Club and she was active in the Norcross First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. William Clyde Camp. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, August 7, at 3:00 pm at the Jefferson First Baptist Church, and the body will lie in state at 2:30 pm in the Church. Rev. Cary Hilliard and Rev. Tom Wilbanks will officiate, and the interment will follow in the Jackson Memorial Park. The visitation will be from 5-8 pm on Saturday at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers will be Matt Muma, Mark Muma, Chris Camp, Robbie Camp, Kenneth Camp, William Michael Camp and John Camp. Survivors include: children: Janice Muma, Dallas, GA, Michael Henry Camp, St. Louis, Ronnie Wayne Camp, Duluth, William Clyde Camp Jr., Knoxville, Robert David Camp, Cumming, James Daniel Camp, Alamo, TN, and Rufus C. “Rudy” Camp, Jefferson; sister: Ethel Sears, Norcross; 17 Grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren also survive.
