KENNESAW - North Gwinnett advanced to the second round of the Class AAAAA girls state playoffs with a 2-1 victory over Kennesaw Mountain on penalty kicks on Wednesday. The Bulldogs outscored the Mustangs 5-4 on kicks. Tori Carroll scored North's goal with the assist coming from Sam Au.

You can't fake being Southern, so don't even try
