Billy Hutto, age 63, of Buford, died April 19, 2005. He is survived by: Wife of 38 years: Patsy Hutto, Buford; Children: Michael and Shana Hutto Meeks, Dacula; Jon and Jodi Hutto, Commerce; Grandchildren: Hayden Hutto, Zane Meeks, Hampton Hutto; Brother: Bobby Hutto, Panama City, Fla.; Sister: Sara Posey, Vada, Ga.; Several nephews. Dearly loved husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was an Army veteran. Billy was a Georgia State Trooper and later became the Assistant Agent in charge at the Athens office of the GBI. Billy retired in 1996. He was a member and Deacon of the Hebron Baptist church, Dacula. Billy was a devoted Christian that loved and served God. He drove his beloved wife, Mrs. Patsy around for over 38 years. He also enjoyed playing golf and spending time with his grandchildren, that he cherished. Most of all, he was a loving and giving father that will be remembered for his kindness, decency, and a wonderful sense of humor. Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Friday, April 22, 2005 at Hebron Baptist Church, Dacula, with the remains placed instate at 10:30. Rev. Larry Wynn and Rev. Duke Forrester will officiate. Interment Gwinnett Memorial Park, Lawrenceville. The GBI and other Law Enforcement Officers, DOVE Sunday School Class, and Deacons will serve as honorary escorts, and please meet at the Hebron Baptist Church at 10 A.M. Friday. The family will accept flowers or make contributions to the Hebron Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 279, Dacula, Georgia 30019. The family will receive friends Thursday from 2-4 and 6-9 at the Tim Stewart Funeral Home, Lawrenceville, 770-962-3100.
