GRAYSON - Grayson scored nine runs in the bottom of the fifth inning, blowing open a close game and defeating Brookwood 11-3 in Region 8-AAAAA action on Wednesday. Alex Johnson pitched a complete-game, yielding five hits and striking out six batters for the Rams (10-8, 4-3). Jeff Mitchell was 2-for-3 with a home run, a double and two RBIs and Brad Blaylock added two hits, two RBIs and two runs scored for Grayson.
