Thomas “Tom” Nichols, age 68 of Lawrenceville died Monday, November 8, 2004 after a long and courageous battle with Lung Cancer. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM, Thursday, November 11, 2004 at McKendree United Methodist Church, Lawrenceville. Rev. Terry Fleming will officiate. A member of McKendree United Methodist Church and a U. S. Navy Veteran, Mr. Nichols was retired from International Time Recording of Georgia in Tucker with 30 years of service. He is survived by: Wife: Elizabeth Nichols, Lawrenceville; Children: Blake Nichols, Kim Creel, both of Temple; Julie Pearson, Lawrenceville; Grandchild: Winston Pearson, Lawrenceville; Brother: Dennis H. Nichols, Walhalla, SC; Sisters: Geneva Gillespie, Locust Grove; Ellen McDonald, Rockingham, NC; Barbara Lanning, Salem, SC; Beloved Nieces & Nephews. Flowers accepted or in lieu of flowers, memorials to McKendree United Methodist Church, 1570 Lawrenceville Suwanee Road, Lawrenceville, Georgia 30043. Family will receive friends from 2-4 PM and 6-9 PM, Wednesday, November 10, 2004 at the Tim Stewart Funeral Home, 300 Simonton Road, Lawrenceville, Georgia 30045. 770-962-3100.
