Ernest J. “ J. E.” Hayes, age 79 of Tucker died Sunday, November 7, 2004. Funeral Services will be held 3:00 PM, Wednesday, November 10, 2004 in the Lawrenceville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home. Dr. Raymond Wilson will officiate. Masonic Graveside Services will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens, Tucker. A member of Gloster Baptist Church, Lawrenceville and a WWII Army Veteran, Mr. Hayes was a Mason & a member with Tucker Masonic Lodge #42 F. & A.M., Scottish Rite Yaarab Temple and was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters. He is survived by: Wife: Tempie Edwards Hayes, Tucker; Children: Joyce & Billy Simonton, Loganville; David & Mary Ann Hayes, Winder; Aunts, Inez Waters, Lawrenceville; Georgia Lee Roberts, Honey Path, SC; 4 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren, Several Nieces & Nephews. Family will receive friends from 1-9 PM, Tuesday, November 9, 2004 at Tim Stewart Funeral Home, 300 Simonton Road, Lawrenceville, Georgia 30045. 770-962-3100.
