Mrs. Janet B. Kowallek, age 44, of Flowery Branch, GA passed away on December 24, 2004. Surviving are: Husband: Mr. Bill Kowallek, Flowery Branch, GA. Daughter: Sydney Victoria Kowallek, Flowery Branch, GA. Mother: Hazel Babbit, Tampa, FL. Mrs. Kowallek was a native of Tampa, FL. She was employed with the Gwinnett County School System as a Teacher at Lanier Middle School in Buford, GA. She received her Bachelor's Degree from Florida State University, Master's Degree from University of South Florida, and a Specialist Degree from Brenau University in Gainesville, GA, A celebration of Janet Kowallek's life will be held on Thursday, December 30, 2004 from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. at the Summit House of Lake Lanier Island Resort. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Sydney Victoria Kowallek Trust Fund at the Peoples Bank, Main Office, 1899 Buford Highway, N.E., Buford, GA 30518.
