Jim Shriver, age 54, of Snellville, GA passed away at his home, surrounded by his family and friends, on November 30, 2004. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Deborah Marie Shriver, daughter Christina Marie Shriver and fiance, Jared Allen Groff, both of Snellville, parents Blaine and Irene Shriver of Charleston, WV, grandmother Martha Carney of Florida, brothers and sister-in-laws, John and Elaine Shriver, Huntsville, AL, Tom and Laura Shriver, Ansted, WV, and Ted and Cathy Shriver, Charleston, WV, mother-in-law Mary Taylor, Masontown, WV, sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws Bobbie Sue and Mike Burnside, Kingwood, WV, and Tim and Sherry Taylor, Oakland, MD. Several aunts, uncles, nephews and a niece. Jim was a member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church and was employed by Brooktrout Technologies, Needham, MA. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and neighbors. Funeral mass will be held on Friday, December 3, at 11 am, at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, Lilburn, GA with Monsignor Paul Reynolds and Father John C. Druding serving as celebrants. The remains will be cremated. Rosary will be at 7:30 pm.
