The attack occurred Saturday night at a Days Inn in the 5300 block of Peachtree Industrial Boulevard in Norcross, where police were able to secure clear surveillance photos of one suspect.
The 46-year-old male victim told police one man was armed with a handgun. The men “severely” beat the victim in the parking lot before taking his money and other valuables and fleeing in a light-colored, four-door compact car, said Norcross police Det. Bill Grogan.
The victim declined medical transport, police said.
