BERKELEY LAKE — Scott Lee, Anne Carpenter and Jim Donnelly have been elected to the Berkeley Lake City Council.
The trio will fill seats being vacated by Walter Anderson, Debbie Guthrie and Tom Kitchens, none of whom sought re-election.
According to unofficial election results, Lee drew 200 votes, followed by Carpenter’s 149 and Donnelly’s 130. Berkeley Lake Mayor Lois Salter said 253 ballots were cast in Tuesday’s election.
“I’m thrilled,” Carpenter said Tuesday night. “We’re just blessed with the community that we have (and) I look forward to serving the citizens of Berkeley Lake.”
