OUR VIEW: Community has many with giving hearts

But anyone who has attended the ceremony for the Gwinnett Fallen Heroes Memorial on Veterans Day will tell you that it is moving as well as the county honors fallen heroes. OUR VIEW: Let’s split the difference on county budget

Last Updated: 10:29 PM 10/31/09 - We agree that Gwinnett County needs to solve its budget debate and move on. After all, it’s November and a millage rate has not been set. But the latest proposal by Commissioner Kevin Kenerly to restore cuts made earlier this year and fund them with a 2.28 millage rate hike is not the answer. (Full Story) |
