Man not guilty of raping young girl

It took a Gwinnett County jury just about 45 minutes to find Kenneth Anthony Jones not guilty on charges of aggravated sexual battery, aggravated sodomy, child molestation, incest and rape. (Full Story)
Police: Drug fraud scheme ends in arrests

Robert Humbert, 26, and girlfriend Stephanie Amber Martin, 27, face multiple counts of obtaining dangerous drugs by fraud. Both remain at the Gwinnett County Jail after Lilburn police arrested them Tuesday. (Full Story)

Pedestrian killed outside Civic Center; charges unlikely
Last Updated: 1:24 PM 11/02/09 - DULUTH — Gwinnett police will not bring charges against a motorist who struck and killed a pedestrian in front of the Gwinnett County Civic Center, police said Monday.
The collision happened about 8:20 p.m. Friday on Sugarloaf Parkway near Meadow Church Road in Duluth. The victim, James Eaton III, 48, was struck by a 2008 Ford Edge and died at the scene, police said. (Full Story)
Fire ruled arson; $10,000 offered for information

Georgia Arson Control Inc. is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of anyone responsible for the blaze. (Full Story)
